Firefighter/EMT Position CLOSED!! Minimum qualifications at the time of
application. Eighteen years of age, high school diploma
or equivalent. Must be currently certified with the State of Arizona
with an CEP or EMT Certification. Must have a current valid Arizona drivers
license at time of hire. Firefighter I & II
certification is the minimum qualification. Salary $38,215-$58,113
yearly + FLSA mandatory overtime + $760.00 annual clothing allowance + benefits +
incentives. Paramedic differential pay is an additional
$6,000 annual. Public Safety
retirement system (20-year), medical & dental insurance, life insurance,
educational assistance program, initial uniform issue, and vacation & sick leave.
Applicants must pass a general written exam and
job-related physical agility test. Fire Chief may waive testing requirements
depending on experience. Laterals also considered
depending on experience. A Drug-screening test must
be given and passed prior to
employment along with a DPS/FBI fingerprinting background
check. A district application
